How goes the road trip, Scoots/Dave?

"This " weekend will start at 4:00 PM for me. The Y tomorrow and then social time with the ladies. We are celebrating as our favorite instructor has returned after being out with a knee issue. Tomorrow night, dinner with a friend. Sometime this weekend, we may take a ride towards the Cape and Bourne National Cemetery. They are putting the flags on the graves today, it makes a beautiful though somber scene. The S is still available if weather permits.

The +1 is working the phones tomorrow for a political candidate. You can guess which one. Sun evening we are taking a friend and his new wife out to dinner to celebrate. They were married in Lebanon and she has moved here.

Winter prep weekend:
  • Swap in snow tires on 3 cars
  • Brake job on the TSX
  • Store the kit car
  • Store the motorcycle
  • Trim a couple of trees
  • Blow leaves out of the gardens and mulch all leaves with the mower.
  • Put up driveway markers
  • Refresh bait on garage mouse traps

I got to San Diego yesterday. It was a complete surprise to my daughter. She screamed and began crying which brought me to tears too. We had dinner with the rest of the walkers and she is off for another twenty mile leg today.

The MS group enlisted me as a photographer to take pictures along today's route and finish so I an off (of course anyone that knows me knows that).

In spite of what Mikey says, you're a pretty cool guy, Scoots! Very nice gesture!
