^ Right now the storm is moving at only 7 mph, which is very bad news for anyone in its path.

Fini,terminé,all done,now,waiting for the snow,and Santa Claus.
Sorry to hear that, come on south (southern Michigan); we have at least 6 more weeks. In fact, I got two top down drives scheduled this coming week.
I'm amazed you wait until mid-November Dave. We time our putting the S away with the Canadian Thanksgiving - this coming weekend.

And miss all the Fall Colors? I'm hosting a color tour in our area and don't expect to announce the date for another two or three weeks. There are always some really nice warm days when the colors are at or near the tops.

Yes, we usually miss the fall colors, not much around here. It always gets so busy in October but do announce the date here, we might make an exception this year.
I don't think the S2000 group from Michigan met this year, it would be nice, if you want to, to extend the invitation to them as well.

Seems like I saw where there was a Mich S2000 winery hop this past spring but I've not aware of anything else.. I guess those of us with old sports cars aren't in a hurry to store them. I was just doing a little carb repair on the MG tonight so we can take it to Art Prize in GR tomorrow. Meeting another group for lunch on Wed. There's a color tour out of Lansing on Sunday, and another south of GR the following Saturday. But from what I can tell so far, colors are going to be late this year. There's hardly any trees that have even started around here, so I'm holding off on setting any date for now. Oh, and the nice thing about most with old sports cars is they to are little older - meaning retired, and they can come any day of the week - so I'm not locked into just weekends.

NC is a no go...bummer. But this storm is looking bad. Val and Jim have to evacuate their home in SC tomorrow. My sis was supposed to fly up from FL to meet us. That ain't happening, either.

We are hosting an end of season party for the Allegheny S2000 owners. We have about 25 people comings. Neighbors are always intrigued to see so many S2000s on the street.

I didn't think about your being able to go mid-week. Must be lighter traffic as well. Have a great time when you go.

We haven't been out in the S since our trip to NC. The weather has been miserable the past two weekends. We may see some sun and 64 degrees on Sunday. If that is the case, we may hit the road a bit. Fall colors are starting to show.

I'm on soccer duty Saturday AM with the grandson, Saturday evening we will stop and see a friend's Mom who is in a rehab facility due to some heart issues. She is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I feel bad that she's dealing with these issues. We'll have dinner with our friend after we visit.

Update on Val (Valentine - Darlene) She posted this on Facebook today, and I hope she won't mind me sharing it with her Vintage friends:

First time on FB in a long, long time. We will not evacuate and believe we will be safe. Our neighbors are all staying as well even though we are in the Evac Zone A. Should conditions worsen, we will go to be with our daughter in Zone C. With that being said, the Hurricane Party is up the street and will be preceded by a prayer meeting . The National Guard is posted at the corner and there is a huge police presence. Gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc. in the area are all closed. We're really hoping the storm blows itself out before its arrival here. Thanks to everyone who has inquired about our safety, etc. and a huge thank you to Carmen for the offer of shelter. It is much appreciated <3
