Is a week long enough to see Rome?
Flying to Sacramento tomorrow night to join three of my college buddies to run the California International Marathon Relay. This will be my first relay.

Not much happening this weekend. Will try to deal with some Christmas stuff, including picking up an even smaller tree than the one I've been using the past few years. Just want something SIMPLE.
Granddaughter wanted me to take a few pics of her and a friend. Weather/schedules permitting we may do that tomorrow.
Like I said, not much happening.

Headed to Motown the Musical shortly. Next weekend is our trip to Kiawah Island, SC. Staying at The Sanctuary, a beautiful oceanfront hotel at the resort. Really looking forward to it. The +1 will run the half marathon on Sat. He is also playing nine holes of golf on Sun AM at the Ocean Course, which is where The Legend of Bagger Vance was filmed. He loves that movie so he's excited about it. Have a couple of nice dinners planned. And an excursion to see dolphins. The area is so gorgeous we will also spend time just walking around.

Well, Motown the Musical was fantastic. The main characters are Berry Gordy and Diana Ross, but all the Motown groups are represented, singing and dancing. A young Michael Jackson was in it with The Jackson Five. That kid was awesome! Highly recommend your seeing it if you get a chance. There were 60 songs performed. We liked it even more than Jersey Boys, which was a great show, too.

We wrapped up a MG club Christmas Party today. 40 people. Great time. What made it really good was another couple took it on to organize, as we have done it for the past 5 years.
