Thanks, Lainey! Also, thanks for the link. That is the diagnosis I was given at the hospital, and the physical therapist took me through several similar exercises, but not specifically those. I'll give them a try tonight in bed. I'll let you know how they work.

To everyone else, I really appreciate your kind thoughts.

Good luck. I had a bout of dizziness after wisdom teeth removal. Doc thought something was jarred during surgery. I had the "drunk walk" going on. Another bout of the "turning over in bed and feeling like my head has to catch up with my body" issue a while back. ICK. Thankfully that resolved.

Hope your dizziness goes away soon!

Headed to Las Vegas to run in the Rock and Roll (half) marathon Sunday night down The Strip. I have been looking forward to this one.

I tried Lainey's posted suggestions, which resulted in no change. I visited my family physician who offered no further advice, except his opinion that the A-Fib and vertigo were coincidental. Bea hooked me up with her chiropractor, and I had my first adjustment yesterday. The chiropractor said my neck is really messed up based on her x-rays, maybe congenital, so she wants me to get a CT scan of the neck. The vertigo does seem to be getting slowly better, though it may be that I am just getting used to it. I still don't feel like safely driving, so I continue to be a burden on Bea. One good thing has come out of this: I have cut out drinking my usual 3 or 4 martinis per night, and I am losing weight, plus sleeping much better.

[/quote]Gene, sorry to hear about your condition. I go to a chiropractor for my back and it really helps. Hoping you feel better soon.

Gene, hope the chiropractor helps. So sorry you're still having the issues, though. I've had several episodes that were connected to the ear and after some time they cleared up on their own. It really was terrible while it was ongoing though.
