Gene, that is a bit scary - for both of you, I'm sure. Hopefully, it will quickly pass. I had an event many years ago - dehydration along with too much alcohol - while attending a national MG event in Chattanooga and touring an aquarium. Sat on the floor with my head between my legs while others tried to figure out what was going on.

Wow, Gene, that sounds very scary for you and Bea, too.

Hope you get better soon and that your doctors can figure things out so that it likely won't happen again.

I'm sure they will give you the full cardiac work-up, Gene. I hope you don't need anything.

Bill, they did all that in the hospital. No other problems with the ticker, though they did put me on Eliquis, a blood thinner, to prevent further a-fib occurances.

Well, that's good, but I don't like that you are still dizzy. Did they give you the dye and look at your arteries?

No, they did not do the dye test. I'll sure mention that to my cardiologist here. They diagnosed my dizziness as vertigo. They did recommend a stress test, however.

Too much partying? I guess that's better than it could be. I hope you're back to your normal self, soon, Gene.

Wow, Gene. Glad you guys are back home where you can see your regular physician. Jim's been through the afib sitch several times and it is very scary. He too takes eliquis.
