Same here. Our coastal areas may take a pounding. They expect one house on the infamous Chappaquidick Island to fall into the ocean later today.

Getting high winds, heavy rain and flooding and the worst is yet to come. Got some minor leaks as wind is pushing rain into areas we never had leaks in before.

S2kRay

If you don't have flood insurance, photograph every leak you see coming around the roof, windows, doors etc. That's covered under your regular insurance company but if you flood without that proof they'll try and deny their obligation.

If you carry both, you can collect on both without a hassle.

Stay safe Ray, our friends have been posting pix of OC and Seacrets was getting flooded a few hours back.
Gene, looks like you guys have been getting a good bit more rain than us, up until now, stay safe as well.

To my DC/Va/Md friends, looks like you're going to get some RAIN, wow, stay dry.

Waiting for the eye crossing early tomorrow morning. Never been is the eye of s storm before, though I guess I really could have survived without that experience.

It's eery around me. While the projections go right past Ken, I'm only about 40 or so miles North of him. The 'cone' projection is just south of me at this point.

I'm looking outside and its raining, like it has been all day. However, the winds are nothing really, almost looks like a normal rainy, fall day. Unfortunately, I know that it won't stay that way.

Everything around me closed already and we've been fortunate in past storms of all kind to only power for about 3 hours max. If that holds true, we should be OK here.
