What town would be your ideal place to relocate to?

I have to say Hailey, ID is very nice. My parents left the Santa Cruz area after I finished high school and went to Hailey. They have been there ever since.
I've spent a fair ammt of time in UT and my only complain about UT would the strong mormon influence on the state. To each thier own when it comes to religion but my experiences in small town UT is that there is very little difference between the LDS church and the local govts. If you're mormon then it's heaven.
My wife and I are pretty tired of the Santa Cruz county too, tho we have no kid(s) yet so it's gonna be a LONG time till they move out
. I've lived here in SC my whole life, but traveled the western us every summer w/ the family when I was younger.
We're thinking about Norcal or maybe northern oregon/wa.
Who knows. I've never spent much time on the east coast, but I think I want to stay on the western side of the country.
