Headed to the Lebanese deli for takeout soon. There are seven orders ahead of mine, so not sure how long that will take. But we are going in the Perkymobile for a nice top-down drive so I won't mind waiting.

Tomorrow looks like rain so today was busy. I finished the valve adjustment on the S (I was waiting for some other parts). Changed back to the OEM exhaust and hung the Super Sprint exhaust in the ceiling. Got down some scooter parts and started to reassemble the basket case to get ready to sell. Sprayed a few weeds. Swept the garage and watched the +1 plant flowers. The day is done!

We walked in an old bog, then a wooded trail. Got a little over 4 miles in. Saw a fox and a couple of small birds that I had not seen before. At the end of the wooded trail was a most impressive osprey nest, not built on a platform as many of them are. There were quit a few osprey flying around as there was another nest not far away.

We thought about take out for dinner tonight, but the wait can be long on Saturday so we'll do that tomorrow. I was "rewarded" for my walk in the woods when I found a wood tick in my jeans. Grabbed a shower and washed my hair, Rick did the same. Can't be lazy about using insect repellent next time. There isn't much to do these days, so I'm not about to give up walking in the woods with the camera.

Trip to the deli for carryout worked fine. I called to determine the food was ready before heading there.

Only one tick Lainey, hah rookie!
we've taken a walk through our woods down to the dam.
On getting back, I needed to use the bathroom and picked at least half a dozen of my pants.

Yeah I hate them.

No, not really! The mall is closed!

Actually had a deer tick on me too and those are more concerning around here........Lyme disease and all that. BUT nope, I'm not giving up walking in the woods. I'll just be sure to use the repellent. I do have friends who are VERY concerned about Lyme disease and they won't spend time in the woods.

Did 4 birthday parades with local Jeep club, covering about 140 miles. Good time had by all.
