Hmmm maybe I can talk my wife into some chaps...

on a different topic... Every so often, you do something and ask yourself why didn't I do this 20 years ago.
Buying the riding mower/tractor w trailer has been wonderful for yard work.
Simple things like dragging around compost and garden weeding and so forth.
My wife gets this big smile on her face every time she starts it and drives it.
I do still have to get better at spreading the fertilizer with the broadcast spreader trailer attachment.
The lawn is looking great.... except for where I missed badly.
I certainty can't say the stuff doesn't work, not when you see great lawn and crappy looking grass 2 feet apart.

Haha my wife's the same with our mower. At first she wasn't too keen but after she drove it a couple of times I can't get near it any more. I had to move it out of the garage over the weekend so I took it for a joy ride round the property just so I could get some time on it.

Chain saw chaps = The best money spent. They should come standard with the saw!

Well this morning when I woke up (after a massive 3 hours' sleep) we discussed the possibility of buying a digger/excavator too. Just a small one though, because buying a large one would be insane. I guess that's Christmas sorted then.

I cut an access hole in the wall to get in to inspect.
The good news is the tub plumbing for the jets etc is fine.
The stupid drain has a leak. easy fix. Of course I can't find my drain tool so that will be a trip to Home despot.
Annoying since it is a $10 tool. needs plumbers putty and maybe a new seal.
Then there will be the inevitable wall board fix and sand and prime and paint.
Painting in the bedroom might lead to bigger things...like painting the bedroom.
It is a big room, 24x18, hallway to closets and bath, two story cathedral ceilings, plus loft area.
I broke down and bought the little tool. Gave the drain a quarter turn and everything with that drain was right as rain.

filled it up again and found the true culprit.
The union joint going into the pump was just dribbling out a little stream of water when the tub was full.
The joint has been in place for 30+ years. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot over?

No cracks that I can see. 2" o ring appears to have gone bad although appears intact.
