I think I'm going to clean the house today and I'm on the fence about doing this but I'm thinking about sychronizing my clocks they currently are all off a bit. Life on the edge.

I tried a different virtual workout...FAIL! Music was terrible and crackling. One needs good music to exercise. Moved on to a pre-recorded class by my favorite instructor. She focused on shoulders and upper body. Well, one shoulder is bugging me so I had to modify and it kinda just wasn't any fun. FAIL #2. I guess I go back to the Covid-19 lifestyle. Eat more, move less, toss out scale. No walk planned, the wind chill is 29 degrees. WTH??!!
So today's plan is to find something to do around the house, supervise Rick while he hangs a mirror in the living room that we never hung back up after re-painting two years ago! I was hoping to find something different and gave up. He's roasting a chicken for dinner which will be a good meal on a cold night. Family zoom at 4:30. My great nephew just had his first birthday. Hopefully he will join in the zoom meeting. He's a cutie!
Hoping for better weather tomorrow.

That's the first I have heard of it but then again I never read Satch Carlsson until he started writing for Hemmings sport and exotics.

Yep ol satch had a ward of the state living with them and engaged in some indiscretions.
As the article says, she was 17 but... ward of state.. he did time in an Alaska jail if I recall correctly.
Part of today's plan was to do some tree clean up.
The gales of wind and watching a large branch fall in the neighbors yard convinced to stay away from the tree line.
It was brisk out there. and just to add insult to injury we had to have a light batch of flurries come through.
You know, like, in case we hadn't noticed.

This weekend was a "do some small things I've been putting off for ages" weekend. I put up a shed, made a door for the grow tunnel, shaved down the front door on the workshop so it didn't stick, fitted a deadlock, and got started on categorizing some wood trim so we know what we've got for when we start on the house renovations.
I also bought my wife a chainsaw, some protective chaps and a helmet for Mothers Day.

Are you sure those are for your wife?

Yep, there's no way I can fit in the chaps. She's been vacillating over getting a chainsaw for a while now because she doesn't like spending money, so by giving it to her as a present I've assuaged her guilt. Getting a discount and a tax rebate on it helps too.
