Friday, if parts come in, I'll take the day off and do some work on a boat trailer. Friday night is grandson Cameron's play. Saturday I'll probably pull out the snow blower and get it ready for the season. Saturday night is a law Partner's son's bar mitzvah, Sunday, if the parts come in, I'll be helping my son do a brake job on his Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Sounds like a busy weekend.

Some work and some play.

I am guessing that we won't be doing anything. During our riverboat cruise I fell and it would appear that I either bruised or broke a couple of ribs. Waiting for X-rays to tell but no mater which I will be just sitting around and complaining!

Getting old sucks!!

Scoots, my guess is bruised. I know when I had a number of cracked ribs from an auto accident it was the most painful thing I've ever experienced and it had me in tears a lot of the time. Anyways I feel your pain and hope it passes quickly.

Either way it hurts and you just have to wait it out.

Get well, Dave. I'm sorry you aren't feeling well, but happy for you that this did not happen at the beginning of your vacation!

Thanks Lainey. While I don't feel much better the 800mg of Motrin, Vicodin and cough medicine is helping a bit.

Keep the pictures coming so I will be entertained!

Scooots, I hope that you start feeling better soon.

Did you ever get the results of the X-ray of your ribs to find out whether they were broken?

As Dave from Mish-she-gan said, cracked or broken ribs are extremely painful. I broke 3 ribs in year 2000. I slipped in the shower/bathtub combination, and my body rammed back and forth against the sides of the bathtub many many times, and I broke 3 ribs. Yes, I would say that was the most painful thing that ever happened to me. I would say that it was even more painful than childbirth, to give you an idea.

Hope your pain is diminishing with the drugs that you are taking.
