Well looks like you all kept busy I ran a couple of errands on Saturday and spent the rest of the weekend peering out the window doing my Mrs. Kravitz imitation I need to get myself a rocking chair and afghan.

AWESOME.
No fuss no muss, put the battery in and squeeze the trigger.
The saw can buzz through 3-4 inch branches like nothing. Although i do need to sharpen the chain.
I have my Stihl chain saw but I'm reluctant* to get on a ladder with it.

*as in no F'ing way
That is a much better brand than I thought it was! My Troy-built (I think that was the brand; some junk from Lowes) had a red case, so that was first guess. I too have a Stihl chain saw - love it - but like you, no F'ing way do I do anything overhead or on a ladder with it.

I've found that with careful shopping you can sometimes get deals on the milwaukee stuff.
I got the weed whacker chain saw combo last summer. i just got the other stuff this year.
Don't get me wrong it was not cheap but a much more attractive price than retail.

The edger worked really well.
With the 3 foot extension, so a 10 foot pole saw, it was kind of unwieldy but got the job done.

Weather is supposed to be good Saturday so if it's warm enough I'm going to wash both cars as I got a bit of dirt on the beauty queen the 2 times I drove her. They are calling for snow on Sunday so maybe do some shopping and kick back with a few adult beverages,

That's why I figure I should mow, before it gets out of control.

My plans are to swap the transaxle on a STX38 John Deere spare with the one that is failing on my current one. I don't know if the one on the spare is any better, since I picked it up for parts several years back. I am hoping it will not be to difficult. I have found two different YouTube videos on how its done.
