Nice that you participated in that! Looks like fun!
Our weekend was well..............kind of like last weekend. Yesterday was a very long rainy day. ZERO motivation. Today the sun was out and it's like magic! Rick washed the convertibles, I did a Y class on line, laundry, puttered, and we went out after lunch for a top down ride. Chasing ospreys. They are plentiful now as the herring are running. Also managed a few sightings of a bald eagle, which is a first for us in our area. Stopped at a couple places and ospreys were plentiful. People were out, some wearing masks, some not. We kept our distances and had masks on at a couple stops where there were more people.
I was trying to switch up my settings on my camera and inadvertently set it to take B&W photos and didn't notice right away. I like B&W photos, but would have preferred color. Take out food only.

Lainey, I think that is a very nice photo! One worthy of entering into one of your local photo contests.

Is that an osprey holding his dinner?

Thank you, my friends, about the car parade. I'm sure my sanity and happiness got as much of a boost as the birthday children and their families. What was an unexpected pleasure for me and them, were all the people in the block or so before the birthday child's house, that were out waving and giving us thumbs up. We were told to honk our horns before we got to the house and if you weren't in the front of the line you didn't have any idea how far you were from the house, but I was surprised at how many neighbors were out enjoying the parade of cars. There were older people waving to us behind their closed glass storm doors. Similar to Vintage, there's always the negative person. The third house we were going to, the Ferraris were out front and I was closer to the front than before. There was a guy washing his car in the street and he saw the cars driving up so he sprayed his hose across our lane so we had to go in the opposite lane not to get wet. There was no horn honking yet and my top was down, and I was saying WTF is wrong with this guy? One of the women who was an organizer said she was going to go back and talk to him. He even flipped off the cops at the front and back of the group.

Lainey, I would be so thrilled to get a photo of a bird with its catch!!

Thanks, Sue. It's not quite as sharp/in focus as I'd like. Birds in flight are tough. Yes, Osprey with a herring for it's dinner or snack. There were five or six flying around overhead at a herring run. Pretty cool to see.

If I'm not mistaken thats a weed wacker with a saw blade attachment. I think I had the same brand and tried their lawn edger attachment. I found both to be a waste of money - hope you have better luck.

For trimming high branches I use a long extend pole with a saw blade and a cut blade that works by rope. I hold the pole and the wife yanks the rope - it really works 10 times better and is safer.

I just put in 8 posts and ordered 100 feet of fencing to stop our puppy from going into one of our neighbor's yard when she's playing freely with another neighbor's puppy. Its just a temporary fix. In 3 months I can put on the invisible fence collar. Boy is she in for a shock when that day comes!

Nice parade. I like people's ingenuity when it comes to our crazy current situation. Nice to see there is some! Now where is that Holy Grail when you need it?

Dave that is a Milwaukee electric battery unit.
Weed whacker, saw blade, edger, hedge trimmer, 3 ft extension.
AWESOME.
No fuss no muss, put the battery in and squeeze the trigger.
The saw can buzz through 3-4 inch branches like nothing. Although i do need to sharpen the chain.
I have my Stihl chain saw but I'm reluctant* to get on a ladder with it.

*as in no F'ing way
