Doh. That never crossed my mind. I'm sure the elevation did a number on me when I moved here. I'm over it now. My house is at 5,280 feet, plus or minus. I get complete blood count done every 3 months usually for my rheumatologist. I have higher red blood count than I used to. I was wondering if that had to do with living here at a higher elevation. Or maybe it was the size of the red blood cells that went up. I don't remember. I thought because I'm used to riding here that when I rode in California it would be a piece of cake. So far I haven't noticed that piece of cake. I keep getting older and I think that has something to do with me just not riding as far, as I used to, as easily. I bought my first ElliptiGO in September 2011 when I was just 17, I mean, 53, and I'm 62 now. That must account for something.

I looked it up in my Kaiser lab results. My HGB and RBC are both higher than ever before. Elevation relation?

The +1 has headed to the commissary. Still not happy that I can't go in but hoping that restriction eases with the end of the craziness. He is wearing his handy dandy homemade mask and he knows where all the stuff is now that I usually put in my cart, so it should go faster. He will have to wait in line for awhile after it opens at 9 because they are only allowing 50 customers in at a time. That worked very well the last time he was there. And the shelves were also pretty well stocked. We do not need tp, paper towels or cleaning supplies this time.

I'm staying in today rainy outside, going to finish watching a movie I started last night and the mini-series I've been watching and the book I've been reading.

I have a zoom "meeting" with some Y ladies today and one with extended family tonight. The gatherings really boost morale. In between I'll putter and go for a walk. No basement work out today. It's a day off.

The +1's trip to the commissary went well. Was able to get everything on the list and even a rotisserie chicken which has not been available lately. Wiped everything off before putting things away and threw away the plastic bags instead of saving them. He said about half of the customers had on a mask. One guy saw his and said it was really clever, so he told him how to make it/find the video.
