It was high 40's here as well. Snow's gone. Spent the day doing leaves. And the evening doing drinks. Good day.

We are enjoying the visit with my son and his partner. They have a nice older house in the Lake Sunapee area of NH. It needs some work but has some nice features, including a running brook that wraps around the house and five acres of land. Yesterday I helped him install a new dishwasher. It’s great to spend father and son time together.

That sounds lovely. Anything with a water feature is great.

Yes, we were! That pic is only the area where Penn and Constitution Aves come together. No estimates on the crowd size yet. The parade started at 15th and Constitution and went to 3rd St, where the stage was. So there were many times the number of people you see there. We could not get very close to the street, but did have a vantage point of the buses with the players going by. After the parade ended, we went to 7th St and watched the rally on a jumbotron. It was packed there, too. Once the whole event ended, we headed up the street to a very good restaurant (Zaytinya) and had dinner on a heated patio. It was very nice. We tried to get in to a couple other places, but not a chance. Everywhere was packed. We lucked out and there were a couple of patio tables available. By the time dinner was done, getting home on the Metro was easy.

The Caps game tonight with the Nats team there is gonna be really great, too.

That's a great area Bill. Keep your eyes peeled for Steven Tyler from Aerosmith he lives on the lake.

Looks like a fun weekend for all. Deb, those world championship parades are great to be a part of, even if only watched on TV. Lots of fun. Bill, glad Chris +1 are doing well. Nice area. What else is on the "to do" list?

Yesterday I was invited to a birthday celebration for my Y lady who now has dementia. She's doing OK, for the most part. A pleasant lunch with members of her family and another Y lady joined us as well.

We are headed out to a few nature areas in the hopes of seeing a bald eagle. I'm pretty sure I saw one yesterday sitting in an osprey nest. It was huge. It flew off when I was there. I had the point and shoot with me, but no photo worth sharing.
