For you Gene, the isolation may be good. Otherwise everywhere you went with Bea, people would look at you funny after noticing her black eye.

Best wishes to your wife for a speedy recovery Gene.

You'll all be happy to know I braved the zombie apocalypse and went to the medical center first thing this morning, I figured I'd rather be first in the queue than sitting in a waiting room for hours. They were carrying out triage outside the front doors and I let an older gentleman go ahead of me so he had the building to himself. I didn't even get inside, the triage nurse just said from a visual inspection it wasn't broken, the bruising looked promising (my foot is one big bruise) and I was doing everything right so go home, put my foot up and take some painkillers. One man turned up with a mask on saying he'd been feeling unwell for the past 4 days and he was sent home to ring up for a phone diagnosis first.

Smart to get that checked out! Glad it appears to be minor.

Big plans for the weekend. I think we are going to watch a movie. At home. On TV. Or maybe on my computer. We might even make popcorn. You can't buy toilet paper now, but there is plenty of popcorn. Hmmmmmm.

It won't be long and you will wish that the corn was still on the cob!

Gene, sorry to hear about Bea's fall.

I hope that the pain is manageable, and that her recovery goes well.

Gene, in the grand scheme of things it sounds like Bea will do OK.
I had a friend's wife who did a similar thing but got her chin and shattered her jaw and had it wired shut for 4 months.

My wife and I decided to throw some money towards a spiritual medium, we've both lost family members and we always wanted to do this. We were recommended to a reputable medium so we will give it a shot.
