During the January 2024 visit , she told us to keep our eyes peeled for a few things . She does that at the end of each session, advising us to look out for certain features in the world. One of those features was an anniversary logo, she told us to look out for an anniversary logo - like something you would see with a business advertising their anniversary for like 50 or 100 years etc. Then she said that she saw confetti and told us to look out for confetti. Then she talked about an industrial property that is located near my home - we have Volkswagen building the largest electric vehicle battery plant in North America about 1 mile from my home.

In early March my wife and I went to Tim Hortons for breakfast, each purchase gave you a chance to win in their 60 year anniversary contest giveaway. When I got home I rolled my electronic "roll up the rim" contest on their app. After playing my electronic roll on the Tim Hortons app I got an immediate winner notification, it was an explosion of confetti on my computer screen. I won an electric vehicle that was made by Volkswagen (ID.4), as part of their 60 year anniversary contest. The logo in the picture below was printed on the winning coffee cups that we purchased that morning , and the confetti notification I received on my computer. The 60 year anniversary logo was everywhere during the contest period. Tim Hortons is a big part of Canadiana here. After our January visit we could not figure out why the medium was fixated on talking about the industrial property that was being developed by Volkswagen for their EV vehicle program, it was so weird , it made no sense to us, but we found out in March though. The contest only started at the start of March so there was no way to know about it in January. When I tell people about most of this stuff I just tell them that you can't make up this shit. After each of my visits I usually tell my older sister who is still living everything, then when things come true at a later date she has already heard the details, she has become a believer herself as a result.

Yes, I totally remember all that! I've believed in mediums for years but yours sounds truly exceptional.

I finally played 18 holes yesterday for the first time this year.
Did OK although I don't have to notify the club about a course record or anything.

It is becoming increasingly frustrating to play though. I can't see the ball in flight so I have to have a spotter ( aka wife) with me.
Yesterday, on a short par 3, as a joke I called the shot. High wedge shot just beyond the pin to the left onto the slope drawing it back to the pin.
I hit exactly what I wanted and never saw it until it stopped. It was exactly what I'd described.

Headed for the Rosslyn Jazz Festival tomorrow. A couple of bands I want to see. Going with my good friend Kerry. She worked for and with me for years at the BLS. Vito comes back from visiting kids on Mon.

We are going to try again to have the car show at the retirement home I used to work at, we had to cancel it earlier in the summer due to rain but weather looks good for this Sunday afternoon when it is scheduled for.

Before Covid we used to go to Frankenmuth MI a couple times per year for weekend mini vacations. Bronners Christmas store is my wife's favourite place in this part of the world. We always found good places to eat at reasonable costs, and the outlet shopping in Birch Run was pretty good. We also like breakfasts at Bob Evans (we can't get them in Canada). Our passports expired during Covid so we did not visit for a while, but we are ready to go back now. We hope to visit this coming weekend , should be fun. The Canadian dollar kinda sucks now, but we should be able to find some good deals to offset the costs, even a cheap tank of fuel helps, lol.

No plans yet, but Sunday looks gorgeous. Hopefully, we will hit the road and have a late lunch while out and about.

We were there last fall, never changes much, always a neat town to visit. Great military museum if you are into that sort of thing.

Yeah it doesn't seem to change much, you are right it is a nice place to visit. I have driven by the military museum but I have yet to visit, on my list of things to see there for sure, I do like those types of things.
