Gene-

Hope Bea is all right. She's had a rough year with this and the bicycle incident.

^Thanks, all. She has been taking Tylenol for the pain and she has a nice black eye, but she is doing ok, considering.

Hugs to Bea and you, Gene. Waiting out in the car when I'm sure you would have rather been with her must have been difficult too. A sign of the times.

The ER is a remote of a local hospital, so they had to send the tests to the main location to be read. Because of the virus, I was not permitted to accompany her or to even wait in the waiting room. So, I cooled my heels in the car. When we got home, and she took her Tylenol to ease the pain, I decided it was time for some adult beverages, which is where I am now.
So sorry to hear this Gene. I wish Be a a speedy recovery.

Thanks again, all. I forgot to mention that when she fell, she also broke her glasses, which now look like Ralphie's in A Christmas Story. Since she had cataract surgery, her old glasses don't work, so she is getting by with the one lens that is intact.

Gene I'm really sorry to hear of Bea's accident. I'm sure it was a long tough night.

Thankfully my optometrist opened up his office for two hours this morning to handout eye glasses ordered before he closed down. Boy, was I glad to pick them up after trying to live with the $1 specials for the past 3 weeks. When things return to normal I am going to get a spare set from China where they are dirt cheap.

What they all said, Gene. My mom had a similar fall about a year ago and also broke her glasses. Since she lives in nowhere, DE, aka near Laurel , and fearing possible fractures, we called for an ambulance. Fortunately nothing was broken and she recovered nicely. Hope for the same for your Bea.
