Yeah putting them all up there was fun. I should take them all down and put them back up 3 times a few times a week, that would be a good workout ...... or not ....

I have always enjoyed wood working. Worked at a cabinet shop for about 5 years right before and through part of college and always enjoyed that work. I love my pay these days but some days wish I was just going into a shop and building stuff for a living
There will be 2 more cabinets under it later on as well. But those two allow me to put away a lot of stuff cluttering the shop now. Now maybe I can actually switch back to replacing the front calipers and brake lines on the s2k and maybe heading to the track soon! Plus, I have work to do on my and my friends trailers so the shop is clean enough to actually pull in there and work now

I have a friend who's an ME, he took two years off to take a fine cabinet furniture course.
Then he went back to work as an ME.

For me, it was living in a small seasonal town. I was an electrical apprentice and work got very light, but had friend doing cabinets so he got me hired and trained. Have always enjoyed it and half of my shop is a wood shop now. I have always enjoyed construction in general as well.

never ever mix a wood shop and a meta shop. They are incompatible efforts.
Unless that is, you want sawdust in your oil pan and metal filing in your varnish.

I originally built a 24x24 garage for my toys. I loved the idea building a man-cave and having a cool place to work on my vintage car and kick tires. But I soon realized wrenching on them was one thing but doing other things along side my car wasn't easy. I added another 24x10 separate addition for a space to do grinding, store engine hosts, etc. The addition cost nearly as much as the original. With a better plan I could have saved money and time.
