This is going to be much worse than I thought.
After her second class this morning, she brought home her first efforts from this class.
One was a very large loaf of a sourdough focaccia with two cheeses and salt and other stuff on the top.
The text was al dente. the crust was firm and held together well without flaking off. Still slightly warm it accepted butter in a warm embrace.
Inside the bread would slowly tease apart but wasn't a doughy consistency.
In much the way a good filet mignon requires some chewing action to release the flavored goodness, You had to affirmatively chew it but it wasn't tough, rather and enjoyable action as the flavors swirled in your mouth.
