Same thing we do every Saturday Pinky, we're going to take over the world.

They had to do that to get my new desk in my home office. The guy that delivered it was not happy!!

Well, between the tourists and those who did not leave town, there were thousands at the festival. Some pics to follow. Walked five miles. My feet are tired.

It was a very pretty kite, too. There were a few more in trees.

Ha, I use that line every now and then. Only my wife gets it. No wonder we're married.

Sadly the furniture didn't come apart other than some shelves sliding out, or at least not the pieces we've moved so far (book cases, credenzas, shelving units, lounge suites, two desks, filing cabinets) but we didn't damage anything and no one was crushed. I spent way too long holding things above my head while my shoulders screamed at me as I gently asked my FIL to move out of the way so he wouldn't get crushed. He was trying to be helpful but on narrow stairs there's only so many people who can be there at one time. We get to tackle his desk next weekend, as well as a few more items, but I think we're most of the way there. I celebrated by moving a few bales of hay around yesterday.

Sounds like a day in my life there is always something because moving heavy things up and down narrow stairs is never just enough. We were moving our equipment up a narrow set of stairs last week and as that wasn’t difficult enough the owner of the house, who wasn’t home, had her dog in the downstairs apartment at the bottom of the stairs which had a door that opened outward and no latch so everytime we opened the entry door or upstairs door the apartment door would almost come open we had taped it shut and btw not a nice sounding dog, eventually the door popped open, dog got out I was upstairs and my co worker was outside. Luckily he had some treats in the van so he lured the dog back in and we taped the sh*t out of the door.

Back in my hifi days I can remember schlepping to get a pair of Klipsch corner horns.
The guy had them on the third floor of his old Victorian house.
They felt like they weighed about a ton. ok maybe 300 llbs. but awkward as all get out. ( ok I exaggerated only 175 lbs)

some 4 ft tall and 3 ft on a side. ok I looked it up Dimensions 28.25" x 31.25" x 53"
so I wasn't off by much given that it was a 45 year old memory.
we had to get them down this tight winding staircase.
