Patricia how did you not get a picture of the guy who left his phone? You're slipping. Nice shots.
Dave, I was busy taking photos out the window. Besides that I was totally exhausted. I needed to get up at 3 AM but couldn't sleep. After I got to my CA house and slept for 5 hours. Time to go get milk and stuff.

We did some tent camping on our trip last summer. You can do it!

I had a kettle to make coffee in my tent. Can’t live without my coffee either.
I will be taking my Honda Crosstour. I could sleep inside it if I get enough padding set up for a bed. I located my tent in the garage rafters. I don't think I've used it for at least 20 years.

I had to think about that and how to put it into words. I love being outside. The sounds, smell and sky are something you don't experience in a hotel. I would prefer being in a motorhome like I was all the 23 years I was married so I could be outside all I wanted but I could sleep inside with a bathroom, heat and a coffee pot. That's what I do in my 5th wheel at Kennedy Meadows, CA. I'll see what happens. I'll get my spot on Wednesday afternoon and decide if I want to stay there all night. It'll be fun, maybe.

Vito had planned to run a Jingle Bell race on Sun. Turns out heavy rain in the forecast that day. Luckily there is another Jingle Bell race on Sat which will have good weather. So it will be nephew, Posh, Sporty and Vito running a 5K. We two ladies will either do the one-mile fun run/walk with the kiddies, or just hang around for a bit. Should be fun. Probably have breakfast somewhere after.

Waiting to hear from Patricia as to if she slept in a tent last night, or went to a hotel.............

Not much planned so far for this weekend. I heard someone mention washing cars as Saturday's weather is supposed to be mild, though Sunday is supposed to rain...

I need to drop off gifts at the Y tomorrow for the giving tree. I don't go to a class on Friday, but I'll time my arrival to meet up with a few ladies for some social time. Saturday will be a spin class, maybe late lunch out. Sunday the grandson is coming to lunch. Rick ordered another tool for him. Ryan can visit, get fed and get a free tool.

Radiant hot water heat Rob ? I love that form of heat for the way it feels, it is just so nice how it heats up a room.

No I’ve got a H.B. Smith propane fed boiler with baseboard heat. Works great for the living room, d/r kitchen, bathroom but not as good in my bedroom. It is all one zone. Boiler is probably close to 30 years old.
They put heat pumps in the main house a few years ago but still have their boiler which is a Peerless and that is pretty ‘vintage’ also.

Lainey, my PC in CA finally bit the dust. It's a Dell I bought it in 2008. I'm stuck with my cellphone right now. Laptop is in CO. So, yes, I did tent it last night! I loved it for one night and remembered why as a family, we used to never stay in campgrounds. We had extra water tanks, water and solar panels so we could stay out for days. We didn't have neighbors..
