OMG, didn't even think about waking and needing a bathroom. Why do you feel the need to "rough it" vs a hotel?

Aw, come on, it’ll be fun

We did some tent camping on our trip last summer. You can do it!

I had a kettle to make coffee in my tent. Can’t live without my coffee either.

I'd rather chew broken glass and stick needles in my eyes.

Both long sides of the shop are insulated now and started putting up OSB this weekend so I can get stuff pushed back against the walls soon. Just need to do the end walls next and then can move to the ceiling, which in this case actually will be less work overall since I had to address wiring and other stuff and frame the walls between the posts to do the wall insulation. So I guess this coming weekend will be finishing the sidewalls and hopefully end walls! Looking forward to it being organized again as well as it being easier to heat!

Fancy P and C cars at a campground with a tent makes me smile.

Patricia how did you not get a picture of the guy who left his phone? You're slipping. Nice shots.

We had a big family style tent and used to go canoeing. Ok when we were much, much younger. Now days, no way.

On the Rifle river way back when. Not the easiest one to go down.

and the nearest shower is a half mile away.

but seriously, you're in the desert and avoiding the cacti is your biggest challenge. relief is 20 feet away. you just have to be careful for snakes, the kinds with rattles.
