It looks like fun but to get there for 8:00 I'd need to leave at 5:00 AM which an obscene version of Oh Dark Hundred even with daylight savings time.
It's also a damn good bet it would be too cold for my pilot super sports tires. <40°F. is a no-go.

Lunch with a friend today, the Y tomorrow and dinner tomorrow with our friend. We are going to a local restaurant that I really enjoy. Normally, it's a place you have to get to early in order to get a table without a wait. I don't care for early dinners most evenings. They are now doing a "call ahead seating" so we are giving that a try.
Weather is going to be cool...not much in the way of outdoor plans. Rick made a nice pan of beef stew and our neighbor (almost 91) will join us Sunday evening for supper/dinner

I'm going to drive down and visit my son and family. About a two hour drive one way.

Weather is still relatively warm, so we put up the exterior Christmas decorations, it is all my wife's doing , I do as I am told and assist , happy spouse happy house. She goes nuts for holiday decorations.
When my in-laws moved to their apartment they give us some of their old fashioned hard plastic santa claus and snow man characters (they are about 3 feet tall hard plastic light up characters that you fill with ballast) A lady stopped me and asked me if I wanted to sell my "blow molds", I had no idea what she was talking about. It turns out that the old fashioned hard plastic characters are referred to as "blow molds". I told the lady I'd gladly give them to her for free but my wife would be upset, so no I could not sell them. The lady said they were valuable ornaments and not something you give away. I said okay thanks , good to know.

Lol Dave, that is a good one. That sounds like fun. We do our small outside bushes and ornamental trees, I don't do anything that is higher than 5 feet, not the house or trees. I got up on a small step stool today and that was high enough for me. My wife wanted to turn on the exterior lights this evening I convinced her it was too early to turn them on. I expect she will have them lit up by the coming weekend.

We put up a wreath outside but that's about it. No one really can see it except the UPS and FedEx guys.
And I suspect we don't need to tell them Xmas is coming.
