What plans do you have for the coming Weekend ?

Our indoor house temp touched 65 this morning, it has been running in the low 70's most days this month. I tend to turn on the house heat just after our Thanksgiving (which is this weekend) most years. We just covered up the A/C for the season but it was almost hot enough to use it last week. This will be the first winter in our current home so we will adjust to how it heats up and cools down in cold temps, so far it seems much more efficient compared to our last home. Our outdoor temps this morning are about 45 degrees, not sure about overnight.
Time to winterize our outdoor taps too.

Rob, we have a forced air furnace, so central air in summer, and gas heat in winter. The home is a One floor bungalow with a finished basement, all brick exterior. Gas hot water heater. It is a very compact and smaller sized home, so it cools fast in summer, and heats fast in winter. Our last home was larger and multi-level, so it took longer by comparison.
This home was built in 2007, at that time they switched to 2x6 wood wall studs for wall construction, so it has more insulation compared to the past construction practices. Our last home was built in the late 90's where they used 2x4 wall studs, with less insulation.

I mowed the lawn earlier this afternoon and discovered that my wife has decided to enter her abstract art phase.
It could be said I helped.
Who knew that if you lay a green fence down on a green lawn in the shade you can't see it.
The mower did get a bit of indigestion.
Now we are out stalking the wild SL63 and hoping to get some good pics for BringATrailer
