Congrats on the wedding and graduation, momentous days indeed.
I know I've said this before, but this weekend I'll get started on the new farm entrance. Honest. Yes I will. I will. Yes. Shut up, I will. I'M DOING IT!
Thurs evening is an event at the Swedish Embassy. It is located on the waterfront in Georgetown. It will be a celebration of Ukrainian music and culture as well as of Sweden's recent joining of the EU. Both ambassadors will speak and the evening benefits the children of Ukraine.
The evening was wonderful. Here is the bio of the performing group.
About Gerdan Gerdan - Kaleidoscope of World Music is a professional music ensemble based in The Greater Washington DC area. Founded by Ukrainian professional duo Solomiya Gorokhivska and Grammy winning Andrei Pidkivka, musicians of Gerdan bring the fire and the edge of melodic ideas and rhythms that capture the listener.
The ensemble is named after Gerdan, a multi-colored, intricately woven beaded necklace from the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine. Like this dazzling and exquisite necklace of different colors and shapes, musicians create original arrangements of traditional Ukrainian folk melodies and rhythms that reflect their passion for blending the old with the new, in a style that is fresh, lively, and beautiful. The exclusive collection of the Ukrainian authentic flutes in combination with other traditional and modern instruments create unforgettable musical experience. Gerdan’s musicians have been acknowledged for their technique and exquisite musical presentations performing an exciting Eastern European music repertoire. They reveal their passion for traditional music in their artistic expression to build cultural bridges in time and distance.
Although we are not leaving for another week I thought I would share what it's like when you have very little trunk space for clothes. lol
Step one is to remove the spare tire.
This is why there's no room for clothes. There is one raincoat. All the rest is spare parts and tools I carry all the time.

Dave how extensive is the list of spare parts that you carry? Do you go so far as to carry extra fuel pump, generator and starter or just basics?
interesting that the MGA trunk is narrower but deeper than the SL55 I looked at.
the image makes it look a lot bigger than it is. I think I could rest my elbow on the sill and touch the other side without stretching my fingers.
I seriously couldn't see how to put golf clubs in.
as for the thread topic, I have to go to the airport to pick up my wife and 3 friends. They spent this week touring Scotland.
