What plans do you have for the coming Weekend ?

My youngest sister from SC is visiting our area and will be here for part of the weekend. We are catching up a bit. Dining out (she wants New Bedford scallops), meeting up with them for lunch tomorrow, then at a friends house later in the evening. Friday is sisters day (three of us) and a gathering at my local sister's home in the evening, including local cousins. Cookout on Monday at our friend's home. My sister rented an air bnb studio right near where our friend lives.

Sun marks the return of Rolling to Remember (formerly Rolling Thunder) after four years, a procession of a couple hundred thousand motorcycles from the Pentagon across Memorial Bridge to the National Mall. Come Fri the roar of bikers from all over the USA will be heard all around the area. Many of them come into town right below us on Route 50, and make a pilgrimage to the Iwo Jima Memorial. So we get a roadside view. Always very cool. Will also walk to Memorial Bridge to watch the procession, which takes a few hours.
May also get together with a friend for a cookout or lunch.

I think it was an earlier trip than this one. The Gardens Hotel is sending me emails to come back. Reminds me we need to ASAP! Here is our dollar bill on the ceiling at Capt Tony's. Probably covered up by now. We did a bar hop that day starting at 7 AM. I faded the middle of the afternoon, but Vito kept going.

hopefully be able to get in and stay in the pool. It's not warm enough to be in for long and it's looking like it will be cloudy this weekend. :-/

Not really the weekend but I had planned to go to Amish country tomorrow and look at some furniture but........
I had ordered some stone cleaner to clean my grandparents head stones but it wasn't suppose to be here until after the holiday but........
The stone cleaner showed up today so I'm going to clean head stone tomorrow!
Thank you to my high school classmate Robin who told me about D/2 Biological Solution!

Staying home. Playing some golf, cycling and attending a Memorial Day Celebration at our club. Every year Veterans are honored at a special ceremony. All branches stand and gather with their service flag while their service song is played followed by the National Anthem and God Bless America. Then a champagne toast is offered to them by the attendees and they get free drinks and food at a barbecue after the ceremony.

Quiet Memorial Day as always. We never make plans; just grill some brats, etc.
