My wife and I will be headed out to Buffalo. My Uncle passed away yesterday and calling hours are Sunday with the funeral Monday.
He was my mom's younger brother and the last survivor of the 4.
I posted previously about his sons funeral a few years ago. The funeral director had left the hearse running in front of the church and someone stole it.
I WILL be locking my car at the church.

All British car show Sunday. It's a couple hours away taking back roads. Best part, nice turn out with a lot of British motorcycles, no judging, no awards, just eat, drink, and kick tires.

I wonder if they all stand around and discuss how much they hate Lucas.

Sunday, May 21st, I fly from Denver to Sacramento. I'll rent a car (sporty) and then drive about 5 hours/266 miles, to arrive at Loleta, CA, for three days of driving with Roseanne and Jason's group, "Overdrive Adventures", on The Avenue of the Giants event. This will be my third event with them and I'm sure it will be lots of fun, again. I fly back to Denver on Friday May 26th, and hope to arrive by 9:30 PM. Weather is going to be a challenge with all the thunderstorms we keep having in Colorado.

Long weekend in Canuck land, thank God, I surely need a day off. We have stained about 90% of our wood deck, just a bit of touch up work to do on it and we should be done. Hopefully it lasts through our tough weather conditions.

Got the bike home yesterday from storage! YAY!!!!
After my accident I bought a heavy duty Vanson leather with padding in all of the right places.
It wasn't really a cold day, so the T-shirt, Sweatshirt and jacket were a bit of overkill.
I was glad to be home, I was cooked by the time I got here.
Starting to rebuild confidence and get comfortable on the bike.
I have a former coworker who tracks his who wants to go out for a ride.
He's the guy with stage 4 pancreatic cancer, which is not responding to chemo.
So need to do it soon.

I have a Picanha steak thawing. Going to brine it all night and drink a few glasses of Malbec while I watch it smoke in the Kamado. By the time it's done tomorrow afternoon I should be pretty smoked too.
