Is your transformer buzzing Dave ? Just asking because mine was after the doorbell installation but we solved it. A doorbell transformer isn't too tall off the ground , you might be okay if you are sure footed on the ladder.

I'm glad to read this! I have never heard of prednisone used in a case like this until you menitoned it.

No, no buzzing. A couple weeks after installing the ring door bell in front both doorbells stopped working. I'm 99% sure it will need replacing. But I need to check first . . it will either be around 20v or 0v. I really don't know what else it could be. I just installed a 2nd ring doorbell as the button was cracked on the 1st. Maybe someone tried to ring it until they heard it. Hahaha. As for location, yeah its high.

Thanks Joe. I have 30 year old casement windows throughout my house and spray them twice a year or so. Important to keep the gears for the cranks lubricated so they don’t strip out.

yes so true, 30 years that is pretty good Rob, you are doing something right. I see so many people with bad windows and they don't do anything to maintain them, so they don't think about it.

Had a great Sunday being part of the Northern Kentucky Ridge drive. Aaron Blankenship, who organized the drive, included many of our friends. Roads were wet on the way down, but dried out nicely in the afternoon.

Here are a few pics from the drive.

ah okay , that is odd that it occurred at the same time of the installation. My home transformer has a spot for the front doorbell and a spot for the rear doorbell so I could keep my video doorbell separate from the others on the home.

My wife decided that she wants to start staining the rear deck this week. I thought it would have been much later in spring, but not likely. Cleaned and washed today, when it dries out later in the week the staining will start.

I am headed to the Saratoga Spring Car Show in you guessed it Saratoga on Saturday. If my back can hack it I’m hoping to also do a detail on the S and get a coat of wax on it.

The local Rotary Club is having a car show on Saturday so I am planning on taking the NSX, that is if I can get it cleaned up to my satisfaction beforehand.
