Vito had a nice race this morning along the GW Pkwy from Mount Vernon to Alexandria. It is one of the top 10 races in the country because of its very scenic route. Weather was perfect.

I believe I stopped in Mount Vernon once on a road trip, I can't remember what we stopped there for, but I need to think about this one.

It was George Washington’s home. Very nice to visit. Lots of history there.

When I was a kid we went on a family vacation to DC. We went to Mt Vernon and I was all bummed out because I learned he didn't really chop down a cherry tree.

I had snow, clouds and cold all day yesterday. I got the entire upstairs vacuumed, with earplugs. I love the suction of my Kirby but hate the noise. I took my chubbers, Atticus, to the vet for a checkup. He seems to have a heart mummer but he purrs so much they can't tell for sure. My honey (Magic Michael) came over and made me cod for dinner. Today, it got up to 58*F and I power sprayed his Acura TL, while he made our breakfast, did other things, took a little nap, rode my ElliptiGO and here I am. I need to get my buttocks out the power spray my Pilot before I run out of light.

Fri night we are seeing a Guns n' Roses cover band at our fave venue. This weekend my younger nephew will be in town so will get together with him.
