Finally! I am headed to Fort Meyers on Thursday. I can’t wait to get out of here and head someplace else. I plan on being there about a week or so then head to Charleston, SC and see my daughter and family for a day or two.

the biggest thing I noticed was I'm not sleeping anywhere near as much.
I went from 9-11 hours a night with waking up tired and sluggish to waking after 6 or 7 hours and not falling back asleep immediately.
When you develop an obstruction, it's a slow process. It's like being in the bottom of the hourglass.
I suspect if you suddenly woke up with an obstruction you'd run to the hospital but in little increments you don't notice it.
But when its taken away.... wow!! and with angiogram, angioplasty to stent there isn't any recovery that holds you back.

Headed out to get brandy new rear brakes for the WRX (rotors rotted out from road salt) and do some errands while I’m out in the ‘big city’.

Just got in from the Y spin a thon. Fund raiser to benefit those who can not afford the programs at the Y. They call it a spin a thon, however, as far as the spinning it was just the usual 45 minute class. Glad it wasn't longer as this instructor is tough! The local Y just doesn't have the participation of some of the other branches. The Y requested $10.00 to reserve a bike for the event, and asked that you try to raise $100.00, but it was not mandatory. I guess the thought of trying to raise money turns off some of the "regulars" in the class, as we didn't have a full class. Too bad as there are many disadvantaged people in the area where the Y is located who benefit from the programs, the Y could use the funds. I raised $270.00 and I think I raised the most money. Last year I participated at another branch. I was able to raise $500.00 and others surpassed me. This year I know one person there had raised $1,000.00

This evening we are headed downtown again to have dinner at the little cafe where I hang out with the Y ladies. It's my sister's first Saturday night out since her foot surgery. She is still sporting the heavy boot and needs crutches, but is now allowed to put some weight on the foot.

Tomorrow's weather doesn't look too bad. Maybe a top down ride, somewhere...........

It’s cold and raw here so a good weekend to have free Showtime. I’m going to binge watch Your Honor and Yellow Jackets and maybe clean the house. Maybe. My free trial of Sirius runs out tomorrow and they sent me an offer to subscribe so I may do that still on the fence about it.
