Well, our plans for dinner out and the concert are not working. Got a head cold a few days ago which is hanging around. Stuffy, sneezy, drippy…you get the picture. So looks like some more March Madness is in store. Several teams have shaken things up already. Duke and UNC are my usual faves, but was hoping Memphis would win last night for Vito’s son. They lost a heartbreaker in the last two seconds, by one point.

Thanks Rob, our current home sells March 31st, one week after we take possession of the new home.

We did the final walk-through on the new home today. My wife is a complete neat freak so it is hard to understand how others live and leave obvious dirt and dust and hair (pet and human) behind. I guess it is to be expected to some degree, but we have gone crazy in recent days to make sure our current home is being left in absolutely spotless condition, the sellers of our new home not so much. The buyers of our new home are getting the home left in mint condition, every nail hole in the wall patched and painted, every appliance and fixture and drain cleaned, all dust and dirt and grease removed. They are lucky I guess.

They were. It was odd looking left. We were looking through the back/side of the penalty box, then the glass along the boards - which created some odd distortion when looking to that side. When the action was on our side of the rink - right on top of us.

Flyers down a few, tied it up and took the lead. The Hurricanes scores with .3 seconds in regulation then 28 seconds into OT. Talk about deflating loss for the home team. Didn't matter to me, as a hockey fan, great finish and fun game. Can't thank my friend Frank for the tickets enough.

Yeah, I can see where the glass would be an issue. The best seats I've ever had was the first row of the second section at a playoff game between the Wings and B-town. The walk way was right below us so there was no one at all to block any view and we were near the red line.

I had a great weekend. I started off by meeting my daughter at the Denver Zoo during her lunch break on Saturday, and going behind the scenes with her to watch her with the Grizzly bear, Tundra, and one of the two raccoons with leucism, Pecan. They came to her when she called them. She asked them to do training, with hand gestures, and then she rewarded them with food. I can't share behind-the-scene photos but here's a lion.

I left the zoo and drove to Colorado Springs and spent the night at my sister and brother-in-law's home. Here's a photo of a 1000-piece puzzle I helped them complete on Sunday and the view of Pike's Peak from their home.

^3-19-2023. My sister loves birds and her hubby gave her this 1000-piece puzzle at Christmas.

Sunday, I stopped on my way home at my son's and saw him, my daughter-in-law and adorable grandson. My son and daughter-in-law are expecting a second son in later September. I'm not allowed to share grandson photos so I'm being naughty.

Hoping to be 100% this weekend to go to the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival with nephew and family. Cherry blossom peak is later this week, so I am sure we will have plenty of company!! This is our March Madness!

Love the bird puzzle. I can identify quite a few of the birds shown.
Cute family who ever they are.
