Yes. From the last surgery there is some scar tissue interfering with one of the tendons and that makes using the thumb painful. The first surgery was a success but the doggone scar tissue is screwing things up!
The doc says it is fairly simple to fix....well see.
The no eating the night before is great for the weight loss program!

Thank you Sue. I'm a little worried as I waited longer than I should have but it was more important to take care of Patty than to take care of a stupid thumb. The doctor is worried that there may be permanent damage because I waited but I would do it again if I could.
