bad news about winter, the ground hog saw is shadow and now we get 6 more weeks of dave whining...
Obviously just teasing you man. sucks to be where you're at. Laughing doesn't help.
We'll try our best to be boring.

Blue skies, mid 70s, light breeze. Perfect day for some very imperfect golf. Met a nice fellow from Wisconsin and his son. The son just turned 16 and can hit a drive 300 yards. He mostly shot pars and birdies. They came down for a long golf weekend since Wisconsin playing conditions were less than ideal.

Patricia posted some good info about the Hetfield collection.
Here are a few YouTube links about it.
There was a Mercedes at the museum which you might have liked. I snapped some pics. I'll have to post them later for you.
This weekend was quiet. Heavy rains kept us home Saturday. Wild stuff. A little bit of hail. High winds. The kind of weather we don't see often. Exciting in its own way. Sunday was sunny and we took care of some things that needed taking care of.

I FINALLY DID SOME WORK ON THE MILKING SHED!!
Well, I put up one roof beam. Slow and steady wins the race and all that. I put a crushed lime base down back in July (I think) before I injured my leg, then lots of things happened, then nature took it over the area, and the posts I'd put in to hold up the roof twisted as they dried but I'm not fussed as long as the roof stays up. I had to spend a few hours weeding the area just so I could see where I was up to. Might even have the roof up and the floor done by the time the girls give birth again in July, but don't hold me to that.
I'd like to say the blur was a helpful cow, coming to help clean up the weeds, but it's my finger - I keep forgetting phone cameras are so close to the edge now. Old man status +1.

Last night Michael and I went to a Pour Painting class. It was fun. It's been warm enough for the past three days that all the snow melted so I took the 2017 NSX out for a drive today. I finally got my Christmas tree taken down. I also walked to the far corner of my property and picked up windblown trash. I now know which neighbor has the fires I smell. Their partly burned papers were stuck in the fence. I get tired of picking up their trash. I also found a cat bed that I lost to the wind weeks ago.

^2-25-2023. Lots of rain and snow in California. The ground beyond my back wall there has the biggest puddles I've ever seen on my cameras. It soaked in in a day. I'll be there in three days, just in time for the rain to take a break.

Patty- the head on shot of the NSX is fantastic - magazine worthy--- (even with that billboard or dumpster way in the back )
The paintings are cool. We have a sponsor for Darts for Dreams who donates one each year for our prize table.
