Saturday I attended a seminar. Sunday we went to the Petersen Museum, had breakfast at the Meyers Manx Cafe, toured the Vault (they were having a two-for-one special for members on a rare "self-guided" tour day in the Vault) and just generally had a relaxing day. On Monday we went for a drive in the Santa Monica mountains and enjoyed some top down driving chasing each other through the canyons. It was really a very pleasant weekend.
Hoping to have a group drive this upcoming Sunday. I say hoping because it's hard to tell what the weather will do to the roads between now and then. It's bright and sunny at the moment here on the west side of LA, but it rained this morning and will some more tomorrow. And apparently the San Bernardino mountains here in SoCal are under blizzard warning issued by the National Weather Service. Wild!

Going to be doing touch up painting to get the home ready for final sale. Patching of all holes on walls is part of the deal here, fill holes where we had stuff mounted and touch up painting. It isn't too bad considering we had a lot of stuff on our walls.

There are no portable generators left in the area since the flooding but I've managed to locate one on the other side of the ranges, so I'm off on a 200 mile roadie tomorrow morning to pick it up. The 15% discount I got off it will cover fuel costs.
