Going to two recertification classes for US Soccer, to keep my license as an Official, as well a a Referee Coach/Assessor.
Holiday Monday will be a down day, to lick my wounds from saying goodbye to my HS girlfriend, who I started dating again 18 months ago. She sadly cannot accept anyone who is mature or devoted, as she does not know how to deal with it. She has a boundary no romantic person can get around.

I'll be a bachelor. My bride is headed out to Seattle to see our son.
They both have birthdays next week and she hasn't seen him on his birthday in a very long time.
He was either in school or out in WA.

Roseanne, I'm sitting here giggling. I'm thinking of when we were trekking at the back of some hotel in Vegas, on March 29, 2022, looking for a way to get on the monorail, and Jason was ahead of a group of us. He wasn't answering you so you let loose with some expletives and his full name. He finally answered you. It was obvious that neither one of you was upset and you both kept on being fun after having a few words back and forth. I was impressed. It showed how well you understand one another and that your connection is deep. Sweet.
The third Monday in February is Family Day, a holiday here. Nice to have a weekday day of rest at a crappy time of year. I remember crossing the Michigan border a few years back and the US border guard at the Port Huron crossing was irritated that we have so many holidays in Canada, he wasn't liking the Family Day reason for us having a holiday lol. I really wanted to rub it in that they also have a holiday on the same weekend as us, but I bit my tongue as he was just a crusty old guy. lol.
