Need any furniture for that dollhouse? I happened upon this place the other day, right in my home town.
Flip this Dollhouse!

I spent the day on the road today and it is just flipping mind boggling how ignorant, arrogant and careless drivers have become so I'm planning on staying put this weekend as much as possible.

^ 20 years ago none of that would have bothered you.

That's what I was trying to tell my realtor, if I was home I could answer all of their questions and eliminated any concerns more than likely. It is stupid to me and my realtor should have known better. Thanks for confirming I am not crazy.

I can understand why they do not want you there. In home inspections, it can be difficult to manage expectations - sellers or buyers. Inspectors face pressure to get the job done while managing the seller’s pre-conceived expectations about the final report.
So what if both the seller and the buyer wanted to be there to protect their investments. There would lots of job openings for inspectors.

When we had our house up for sale, our realtor asked us to not be home when he showed the house. We had a buyer, but I don't remember if we got as far as a home inspection. If we did, we weren't here. Can't remember if home inspections were a thing when we bought our home.
When we were looking for a home, I did not feel comfortable if the owner's were around. I wasn't planning on snooping in their medicine cabinet, but to me, it was just awkward.
As far as the weekend, we may take a ride to see if the screen owl is available for a quick photo session. We may have some sun tomorrow. At the other end of a bike path we walked on recently, there is a view of a lighthouse on an island. We may take a stop there to see if it's a photo op. After that late lunch/dinner somewhere.
No other plans until my sister arrives on Monday.

Mike/Gene- nice story. Always learning something new in the group.
Cindy and I have never stayed in DC. I think we've both done day trips, probably in school to the Smithsonian. It's on our list of long weekends.
This Saturday, I have the first of 2 NJ Dart Championships. This one is 501. Next month, I run the Cricket one. Two different games in the dart world. Hope to do well Saturday. I don't like the format my friend Bob uses, but he's limited on space. He has 59 players, 6 dartboards, and each match is best of 11, single elimination. A typical match will take about 30-40 minutes to go the distance. A blowout could be done in as quick as 15. Next month, my event is a round robin, groups of 4 or 5, then a single elimination bracket, so everyone is guaranteed 12 games before anyone is eliminated. I have the luxury of 14 dart boards to use.
Sunday is football day, as well as logging donations, tickets, prizes etc... for Darts for Dreams in April. Surprisingly, for late January, I have quite a bit of things already in the house, and as of this morning, my early count is $7,000 in hand towards a goal of $75,000.

And if your realtor doesn't like it ,you can ALWAYS get another!! I have fired several realtors over the years! Remember they work for you.

Thank you so much for the reassurance. Realtors are often motivated by things that don't necessarily help the client, as funny as that may sound. Firing a realtor is not an issue for me if it gets to that point. Thank you
