It's cold here today. Boston clam chowder is simmering. The first libation poured. The firepit will soon be lit and I'm listening to Frank singing My Way

Hi Rob, yes we have found a new home, it is all conditional on us selling our home. So it can be a bit tricky but hopefully it all works.

Joey, it seems like it was only a week ago that you said you were thinking about moving. Then today you show video's of your house on the market. When did your first post appear? You must have already decided by then, and put some things into action. (Or it could be my track of time is way off).
This is not a criticism by any means, just my curiosity popping up.

Well we have been talking about moving to a new home the last 1-2 years but the market here was stupid crazy and we gave up looking until something popped up on our email feeds about 10 days ago. We get email feeds for available homes in our area , it was just recently we found a home that we met our needs.

I really haven't tracked my messages and dates etc, but yeah it is just the process that we had to follow. I didn't want to announce we were planning on moving until our offer on the other home was accepted. It has been about 10-14 days thus far for the process, but we worked fast as soon as we found a home that fit our liking. We visited an open house, then we contacted the realtor after viewing, and three days later we were putting in an offer on the other home. A few days later we found out that that they accepted the offer. Then we got the realtor lined up for our home, the realtor's photographer took pictures taken on Thursday which was very quick, and the listing is starting tomorrow. They work fast. It has been quite the rush. When I said we were thinking about moving we were likely in the holding phase waiting for our offer to be accepted, if the offer wasn't accepted I wouldn't have brought it up.

Sounds as it your plan will fall into place, Joey! Congrats!
We had a house in our neighborhood up for sale. One open house and I believe a sale was pending. Sale price was only $2K below asking price. Crazy prices as our area is close to the new connection to the train to Boston.
