LOL Jerry, sorry there are others out there who go through what we experience, I guess it is more common that I thought.

All the best of the holidays however you choose to enjoy them.

Just ran a couple of errands Nothing that couldn't wait, but I had time. Traffic is crazy. An accident on the main road into our town, a fatality. Lots of traffic if you get anywhere near a grocery store. We are not expecting a snow event, but the Christmas crazies are out there.
I'm not going anywhere tomorrow!

Sorry I meant translating to American food, e.g. bologna/baloney in the US = luncheon sausage in NZ = polony in Australia, and so on.

Both my kids and their partners will be here for Christmas Eve so I'm having Christmas dinner tomorrow. On Christmas Day I'll have leftovers and hopefully a peaceful, restful day.

If my car isn't frozen to the ground I'm going out to friends for dinner tomorrow night. They are plowing my swamp of a driveway right now and sounds like they are not having an easy go of it.

Celebrating our 50th in NOLA.

Views from our balcony at the Royal Sonesta on Bourbon

Lobby all decked out

Dinner at Bayona, a newer restaurant in the quarter. Very good.

We caught a friend of ours who has a trio that was playing at a club in the Treme section of town.

Then this morning we woke up to find this strange glass-like growth hanging from the railing of our balcony.

Tonight is dinner at Broussard's followed by a burlesque show in the jazz club here in our hotel.

^ looks great, and you don't have snow blowing horizontally into your face like we have here. The food looks good. Have a Beignet or two for us. Enjoy the celebration.

Thanks, Joey. Had a couple of beignets this morning in fact, along with a nice cup of café au lait.

We had bronzed red fish for dinner. Nice but not quite as good as last night's dinner.

After a two-week break from holiday craziness, nephew and family are ready to socialize again. So on Sun, we are all walking to Georgetown to do a little shopping, then coming back this way to have late lunch at our fave Thai place. Posh and Sporty will probably want froyo from the place next door for dessert.
