Headed to ZooLights at the National Zoo on Sat with family. It has been a couple of years since they had it, so will be really nice to go.

Our son has a new boat with twin 600 hp jet drives. We may be in the keys for the weekend providing the seas are accommodating. We still have a lot of flotsam in the waters from Ian. Boating is a little iffy at speed until you get a bit South.

Like Professor Hinkle says BUSY BUSY BUSY!! Started Christmas shopping today in addition to the regular stuff paying bills, cleaning etc. Cleared some space today so I can set up my decorations which wasn't easy as my little house is stuffed but figure it is a good time to get rid of some stuff. Changing the oil on the car tomorrow and going to see about getting new rotors (again) do some banking, grocery shopping and Christmas shopping, send out Christmas cards and hopefully decorate.

Hopefully this weekend I'll be finishing up the frames around the trees in one of the front paddocks, then I can get stuck into building a fence at the end of "bee paddock" (a small area where we host some hives) that will enable me to start working on the main "farm" entrance.

I'll also get in some double time, which will involve sitting inside during the hottest part of the day (Summer here now), staring at some system monitor windows while absolutely not running some Youtube clips in another window.

You appear to have a fair amount of Christmas spirit! Cards and decorating, and shopping? Do you entertain at all?

I work a lot all at once so I gotta' get things done when I get the chance and when I'm in the mood and I have always liked Christmas. Not much entertaining other than friends stopping by for a drink here or there. I get a lot of invites though.
