I'm on my way to Kennedy Meadows, California. Thirty miles to go to be off grid for a couple of days.

Just up the road is a nice park and old saw mill museum. But don't tell anyone, we hate crowds.

Dave, I just looked up Grand Rapids, Ohio. It looks like a nice little town. Previously, I was only familiar with Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We were up your way last weekend for the Michigan/Penn State football game. We stayed in Brighton.

We will be heading that way again in a few weeks for another football game. Our daughter and her two kids will be joining us. Our granddaughter, a big Michigan football fan since her mom was born in Ann Arbor, will be going to the football game with Dennis. I am very happy for her to take my seat as I am not a big fan of watching football in person in cold weather.

We will also be celebrating the November birthdays of our daughter and granddaughter. One is on November 7 and the other on November 14.

We will all be staying together in an Airbnb cottage In Brighton.

I've been beside it but never in the Univ of Mich football stadium since I never got into college football. Both my parents from PA and SIL from FL have. I would imagine its a neat experience during a game. I have been to their hockey games, and MSU as well.

BTW, there's nice pub downtown if you like bourbon . . . it just happens to be called Bourbons in Brighton.

Dave, thanks for the link. I was not familiar with Dr. O. What an honor for such a great person doing so much good helping people with disabilities.
