I love B&Bs. Have stayed at some nice ones over the years. Good food makes them even nicer. Enjoy your birthday. Might actually go to Great Falls cars and coffee Sat. It has been so hot and humid but now getting nicer. And looks like our last Nats game of the year Sun. The stadium experience is nice even if they are awful.

I'm way behind since getting home...

Congrats Ray!!!! That's awesome. My best is a 79 (+9) for score, but an 80 (+8) compared to par.

I did add Alaska to my list of states I've played, with a solid round at Anchorage Golf Course, where I shot a 50/40/90 in my sneakers and with rental clubs last Tuesday.

The front nine we were cooking until we got to 6 and there was a 4 foursome backup, sitting for 20 minutes a hole really messed up.
We got on the bogey train for 3 straight holes. When we got on the back side things started moving a little better.
But it was just a scramble... but back to back eagles and 6 threes in a row were kind of cool.

Someone a very long hitter to eagle a par 4, or did someone hole out from the fairway?

Worse thing at a scramble, bogeying TWO of the par 3s...

Both, I took it over the trees and dropped it about 40 yards from the pin.
My wife then holed out from the fairway with a wedge.
funny part was she was lined up perfectly and skulled it, it never left the ground but ran in like a perfect putt.
but there ain't no place on the scorecard for style points. It's a two.
as for those bogeys, sitting around waiting, talking, taking pictures, didn't do our game any good.

nice.. as they say, the scorecard doesn't have pictures, just numbers!

We started a scramble Monday on a 190 yard par 3. Worst starting hole on the course. Took a 4.

Going to run some errands today in the S and tomorrow I will shine the S up as we are having a car show at the retirement home that I work at on Sunday. I usually go in early and help set up for it. Wonder if the bear is going to attend.

Weekend almost over, but you know what they say about retired people. Every day is a Saturday.
We are still in NY in the Finger Lakes area. We have been so fortunate with the weather. We have done a lot walking and climbing of stairs in the state park yesterday and today. We are tired. Tomorrow we will stay local, won't make any long drives. We will walk, but we won't climb....Headed home on Monday.

We lucked out with the weather at our cruise-in yesterday. Skies were pretty dark all day but people still showed up and the rain held off till the very end of the show.
