My schedule got changed I'm working Sat. so today and tomorrow is my weekend. Going to clean the house do some weeding outside and trim the bush outside my living room window, check the oil on the S and if I have time give the WRX a good cleaning. Also have my cousins coming up to visit their son who lives in central Vt so going to get together with them at some point.

This is the "nice" seaweed. Once the weather heats up, we get the red stinky seaweed. It's gross. You can walk out of the water with seaweed on your body. This stretch of the beach wasn't too bad. We were walking, not swimming, so not an issue. However, the red seaweed was plentiful enough that we stayed on the sand vs walking with feet in the water.

Installing new dishwasher, whoopie good times oh yeah...
My brother wants me to come up to his house in NH for a pool party. hmmm maybe, long drive, and my ear isn't quite healed yet to go swimming.

Bad news is we didn't get any rain from the nor'easter that came through.
Good news is it sucked down a whole bunch of cool air from hudson bay.
I might even be able to finally go ride the bike without melting.

I'm heading to Quechee Vt today to meet up with my cousins and then we are going to visit my second cousin who lives and works on a farm in Barnard Vt. These are my cousins whose Mom died this June, I have been wanting to see them since she passed.

Tomorrow is our annual car show downtown. They block off several streets, and 400 pre-1978 cars and hot rods show their stuff. There are some pretty cool cars from all over the Bay Area. Weather should be perfect in the morning to walk around.

We started our weekend with a ride to Middletown, RI. Walked the trail at a nature preserve. Then headed over to Bristol, RI for a spin through Colt State Park. Lovely scenery.Colt State Park
Next stop a late lunch/early dinner at in Irish bar/pub. Rick tried a different beer, some kind of stout I think. A little pricey at $11.00/beer. His two beers at $22.00 were more than either of our entrees.

Tomorrow friends coming over for dinner, Sunday back to RI for a little ride on a boat for the river tour of Blackstone Valley.
Robb, is probably quite familiar with our chosen locations in RI.River Cruise

Thankfully those east coast prices for a beer haven't made it here. But having a good time is all that matters.

I convinced my son that while mom is travelling he should pressure wash the deck railing.
It looks so much better.
