Well, whatever plans I make will not be outdoors. The heat is on. May have a meal with nephew when he gets back from AZ and before he leaves again. Busy guy.

On Friday our grandchildren are coming for a lunch of grilled chicken, grilled zucchini and maybe some potato salad and sweet corn.

It's going to be quite hot this weekend, so we may hide in the AC and venture out later in the day. Maybe we'll pack up some left over potato salad and chicken and head down to the far end of the Cape Cod Canal on Saturday.

Birthday weekend. Friday night will be a sunset dinner cruise with Sandy and AJ on a touristy paddle wheeler along the Mississippi sound. A long time friend of ours who is one day younger than me (and never lets me forget it) does a solo entertainment thing on the boat. Saturday morning will probably be disc golf with AJ. Saturday night we will hit a local bar where a favorite band will be playing and will celebrate along with the owners who are also old friends and one of whom shares my birthday. Traditionally we always get together on July 23 and toast one another, sometimes more than once.

Hey, Sue. AJ is my younger son.. Rob lives in Ohio and has the spouse who may have long COVID. She is improving but I think its more a matter of adjusting and adapting than any improvement in her symptoms. PT does seem to be helping her deal with her new reality. Now there is an occupation that, along with teaching and sanitation work, is underappreciated.
