I understand some of the fantom pain and feelings that a person that loses an arm or leg feels. There were several times where i could feel my fingers moving and they weren't! Very strange.

It is starting to wear off now and I wish it would last a little longer

Don't "chase the pain". Take the pills before the block wears off. Take them regularly for a day or so. Don't be a hero. Your body needs rest to heal!

After substantial seat time on my bicycle I am also aware of the numb areas and phantom sensation.
It's awful when that just feels dead.

It was indeed a very hot and humid day but we survived it and had a good time.

They came back over last night so we could have a bite to eat at their fave Thai place and go to the Sunset Parade at the Iwo Jima, which is always impressive. They enjoyed it and the weather was really nice and cooler. This Sun we are headed to the Nats game. Then there is watching the fireworks downtown from our balcony on the 4th. Weather for both looks pretty good.

Red, White and BOOM in downtown Columbus. The 40th anniversary edition of the region's largest 4th of July fireworks display.

I'll catch my home neighborhood's parade on Monday.

My friend's son just graduated high school so they are having a big bash for him this weekend so I'm going to that and will probably also rack up some miles on the S.
