Sunday through Thursday, my honey and I will be in one of the Rockmount Cottages in Estes Park. It's our first vacation together. We'll go on the Mountain Coaster and some strolls. This is my third stay there and it's a third cabin. Thank you, again, Dave (dlq04) for sharing your photos.

Finally out of the hospital. They gave me a nerve block that has my entire lower left arm dead or asleep. This will last 18 to 36 hours then it is onto the pain pills.

Thanks for letting us know, David.

I remember that piece of meat hanging down when I got home from ORIF for my broken left humerus. It kept falling out of the sling. I just quit using the sling.

The first day or two post op are the most uncomfortable. Nerve blocks are great for pain control, and less use of narcotics.

When your arm is just not there is such a weird feeling.
Like somebody else's arm is there.
