The Netherlands Carillon concerts started yesterday for the summer. We ended up going with nephew and family after having some early dinner at a Thai place nearby. Very nice evening.

We headed over to Bristol RI today for a walk at a lovely park near the water. While there we noticed a few British cars driving through. There is an event with British cars this weekend. The cars will be at the park tomorrow. We went to the event last year and likely will take a ride over there tomorrow.

Good timing. My friend from Vt went last year said it was pretty good.

Washed both cars today and then about a half hour later they were covered in pollen. Ran some errands in the S today and planning to work in the garden tomorrow, some weeds are gonna get WHACKED!!!

Our walk-in closet has some old carpet, and our older cat had a habit of soiling the carpet during her adult years. I will yank it out this weekend, and we are replacing it with carpet tiles, simple and quick to install. I think the closet covers about 60 square feet, I never used carpet tiles before so I will learn how they install once they arrive, youtube helps.

It will be a breeze for you after that tile job you did. I did an entryway when I worked at a school and it had to be done in a herringbone pattern which I was like Who comes up with these ideas.

Thanks Rob, yeah hoping it is easier, that last tile job was hard on the old back. Yeah herringbone patterns would not be my choice.

Headed to the farmers market after it stops raining, then later going to put a bunch of white and pink begonias in pots. They do well on the balcony. It has been a long time since I planted anything so will be nice to see some more color.

The kids have been staying in the main house and cleaned out the garage and it appears the string for the trimmer got tossed so I did some manual weedpulling today. Didn't get as much done but it is more thorough when you pull them up by hand and less carnage to the healthy flowers than there is with the weedwacker. My landlady came up today also, I was glad to see her haven't seen her since last fall when her husband passed away.
Think I may take a joyride in the S this afternoon haven't gotten much top down riding in this season.

Saturday was a great day at the Columbus Arts Festival. Missed out on the 5K run, as I had my first ever swim lesson Saturday morning! GF and I took the GDaughter and had a blast.

Stood in line for an hour to get Maryland Crab Cakes from a Baltimore vendor. They were worth the wait.
