We stayed at the Reynolds Mansion in Bellafonte, about 15 minutes North of State College.
Walked the campus one day, did some wineries, explored the area, etc...
I played the PSU White course Tuesday when it was 95 or so degrees. Shot an 81 with a triple and double on the card.

Just back a little while ago.

Thats a great round Gary especially with a triple and double bogey. We are hosting a engagement party for our granddaughter and her fiance

How'd you do on the back nine?

I am off to Marietta, Ohio with a former co-worker (MG enthusiast) as my +1 to drive RT 26 and see a bunch of nice people (and Ken).

Who knows, we may even have something to drink.

I'm also heading to Marietta, after work on Friday, for all the fun and frivolity! Need to get the Berlina washed and then pack for Sunday morning soccer games, back home.

OUCH!!!!! That's not funny, not even remotely!

42/39 if you really want to know. Thank you Ray!

As for this weekend- I might play this afternoon. Depends on how some meetings go.
Tomorrow, I think I'm headed into NYC to see the US Dart Masters at MSG/Hulu Theater. There's 8 of the world's best and 8 of the top North Americans. With our trip last week I've been iffy on it, but Cindy has plans tomorrow so I'll jump on a train and head up. The NYC players have been seeing the world's best around the city, at restaurants, Times Square. It's been fun to watch the feeds.

Tonight is the first round, where they play each other to get down to the Top 8.
Saturday afternoon only the NA players play to determine the US Champion.
Saturday night is the rest of the matches of all the players, top 8 to the Champion.

The atmosphere for these in Europe is unbelievable. Part carnival, part costume show, part Oktoberfest. I don't think this will be the same but should be fun. Will also see many people I don't see regularly or those I've played online during Covid that I get to meet in person.

You've never golfed with my wife.
Back when she started those were in range. She is much better now.
and I'm jealous. it's been a while since I've played 18 and even longer since I've broken 90.
But now that she's retired, she's playing at least 54 wholes a week, often more.
it won't be long before she's routinely kicking my butt.

I play in a 9 hole league on Mondays. There are people with a NINE HOLE handicap of..... drumroll.....20, 25 and 26. And we have a stroke limit! One of them has about 20 rounds in the system, and broken 60 only twice. and another guy - been playing in the league for FIFTEEN years, and is still a 20. TWENTY. Nine holes. Almost 200 rounds and broken 50 5 times.

Take up another hobby already. Them, not you.

Very nice afternoon. Had lunch outdoors at our fave Lebanese place then went across the street to see Top Gun Maverick.
