Son came over today with breakfast for Donna & I, flowers, candy, and an item for her garden. Oldest grandson came over later with candy and a card. Sadly I had to send Donna to fetch her own mother's day dinner.... every restaurant I called wouldn't answer due to demand; even on-line ordering wouldn't work at the one we planned on. So she ended up driving to one and will wait.

Well let me tell you things are all screwed up. Ha hahahahaha.



Two more weeks of no walking and then . . . I get to try a tennis shoe but just in the house . . . if that goes well, I get to do that till June. What drags everything out is the two bones, ankle and leg, have to fuse which happens just a little at a time over a long time.

I think the +1 is going to see his mother in NJ for the first time in two years. I will probably get together with a friend for lunch or whatever.

We had a good weekend. Me and Wendy, along with her granddaughter, went to the Harmony Project sing a long at Lower.com stadium (Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer). John Legend's production company is doing a pilot on the founder of the Harmony Project (based in Columbus). We were part of finale of the pilot, singing "Up&Up" from Coldplay.

After church on Sunday morning, I gave Wendy her Mothers' Day gift...a heart-shaped necklace with her kid's/grandchild's names on it. She wore it all evening! Later, her kids came over to celebrate Mothers Day with her. (I bailed, as her daughter and I are butting heads, at the moment)

This weekend...me and Wendy (in my S2000) and her son (in his WRX) are going to Rock the Dragon! This is their first time to NC and the Dragon.

This week is Police Week in DC. Many services, etc. All kinds of old police cars are here. Just saw some of them going around the Iwo Jima Memorial drive. They will be down on Const Ave tomorrow along with performances by pipe bands at the Capitol. Might go.

Saturday it will be lunch with my daughter and family up from SC. Sunday will be the Cleveland Zoo with the same group plus my son and his family.
