Mom's day, which is nice, but that also includes a visit to the in-laws, lol.

Think I will drag the hose out and clean both cars in and out.

John Legend will be in Columbus doing a sing a long for the finale of his pilot TV show. The public is invited to come and sing with him at lower.com field.

Saturday at 5:00

I'm taking Wendy and her granddaughter to the event. It's free to the public.

Need to get the summer tires on the Berlina. It's been a cold and wet Spring...I've been putting it off as long as I could. But, the Tail of the Dragon is next weekend... smh

I finally got my S out on the road last Sunday and have been out every day in it since. Still have the snows on my WRX getting those swapped out next Friday.
Always a lot to do with the cars in the spring for me. Will be doing full details on both when time and weather permits, both state inspections are due as well as insurance and registration for both and always do an oil change on the S and whatever else it is due for.

Very nice ceremony, not only celebrating the liberation of the Netherlands in WWII, but also freedom and the current quest for freedom in Ukraine. Both the Dutch and Ukrainian ambassadors spoke. There were also musical numbers by a brass quintet and by Dutch and American carillonneurs.

Well for starters I am finishing off my MacCallan's cocoa harmony scotch.

then I'll try and figure out why the lawnmowers won't play. On my old mower the new carb came in but it looks really small.. too small.
and the new one is just passing me off in general.

Finally got the hose out now it's starting to feel like spring. Emptied out the WRX and cleaned the interior and put the summer mats in and gave the exterior a good wash. Conditioned the leather In the S and rinsed off the exterior I will be cleaning it in and out tomorrow. Going to polish up the exhaust tips on both cars tomorrow too.

My car guy did a real good detailing job on my car on Friday. The Jeep looks great!

Today I went to the Y. The granddaughter texted me last night and asked if we were free for lunch. That means, can I come over and will Papa cook?

So we had a nice Mother's Day lunch of grilled chicken, wild rice and vegetables. Our grandson joined us as well.

She even brought me some flowers.
